Tim, I used the scripture calendar today and in the process found that you have a lot more at your site. Thanks for all the effort you put in on that project and I'll plan to visit your site more often for inspiration, education and humor.

Hi Tim & Eileen,

Steve Friesen here (Japan MK and former missionary with the MB Mission board). Just met Nic and Jamie yesterday here in Newton at our church, Grace Community Church (where I'm on staff). Jamie's former roommate, Brionne Claassen, got married here on Saturday, and Brionne's folks told Nic & Jamie about our Japan connection. Turns out NIc used to come over to our MB summer house in Karuizawa and hang out with our guys (Andy, Luke & Toby). Unfortunately, Andy (and his wife, Julie) were out of town this past weekend. Luke's in Dallas, and Toby & Summer are in Nashville.

We are traveling back to Japan next month for our JMBC's 60th anniversary--with all of our guys and wives! (4/22-5/7).

We plan to spend a couple of days in Karuizawa (5/5-7) and are spending two nights at TEAM Center.

Blessings,

Steve

Lol, those are great!

My favorites are the one where the boy has a "mohawk" and the really grumpy looking boy bunny. ^^

Wow. My coworker was just asking me yesterday about Japanese people's perspective of WWII.

So interesting, and so sad, that topic.

Not strictly vegetarian, though certainly 90% there. Mostly organic and no pesticides. His father helps out by growing what the restaurant needs in his own garden. Here's their home page: http://holo.sunnyday.jp/

AND I just realized I had the name wrong all this time! It's Holo, not Polo! Ah, my gaijin ears :-(

Your anticipation of potentially irregular input echoes my own blog contribution...seldom, and when I think of it. I may have to send you a prompt now and then.
