Bamboo Babies? Well, for at least the last 20 years we've lived in Kotake Cho -- literally, Little Bamboo Town. Baby Bamboo, as it were. There's four of us, hence, Bamboo Babies. A little silly perhaps? Of the four of us, Nicholas and April, having grown up here, are now in the US, both married to pretty great spouses - for which we are grateful!

Anyway, this is where we call home, and we love our life here. Both the challenges and the wonder of life in a foreign culture, as well as the joy of serving God and His kingdom in a number of ministries. Aileen teaches home Bible studies, works with our little Japanese church, teaches English at Freedom Academy and is on the board of Christian Academy in Japan. Tim works with Pacific Broadcasting Association in TV production, and with BJapan, Back to the Bible's Japan affiliate. He also is on the boards of the Japanese affiliates of Focus on the Family and White Fields mission.

Not sure how good we'll be at regular posting. We'll give it our best shot, but if there aren't any posts for awhile, feel free to rattle our cage!
